Privacy policy.

This policy explains what MagpieToolbox collects, what it does not, and the choices you have. We run advertising and privacy-first analytics, so please read the advertising section closely.

The short version

• The tools run in your browser. What you type into a tool stays on your device unless a tool clearly states otherwise.
• We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites.
• We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and your device data to serve and personalize those ads.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

We do not require an account and we do not ask you to sign up. We do not run our own tracking cookies. Two kinds of information are involved:

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and roughly how the site performs. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other sites. The data is aggregate and is not used to identify you.

Advertising data. Our ads are served by Google AdSense. To show ads, and where allowed to personalize them, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and your interactions with ads. This happens through Google, not through us, and is governed by Google's own policies.

Your tool data

The tools on this site are built to run in your browser. The details you enter, such as invoice line items or hours worked, are processed on your device to produce your result. We do not send that content to our servers or store it, unless a specific tool tells you it needs to. Some tools may save your input in your browser local storage so your work survives a reload. You can clear that at any time from your browser settings.

Advertising and cookies

MagpieToolbox uses Google AdSense to display ads, which is how the site stays free. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

• Review how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Manage or turn off personalized ads in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com.
• Where consent is required, such as the EEA and the UK, you will be asked about advertising cookies before personalized ads are shown, and you can change that choice later.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or opt out of personalized ads with the Google link above. Blocking advertising cookies may mean you still see ads, but less relevant ones.

Children

MagpieToolbox is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or as our advertising and analytics providers change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
